Transitions Team is one of the
nation’s leading providers of career management services for companies,
organizations, and individuals.
Employee separations and career transitions can be emotional and
challenging. Transitions Team has successfully assisted organizations and
guided individuals through these processes for over 25 years.
The company was organized in 1985
when the founder, John Humphrey, who was the Corporate Director of Human
Resources for a company, had to lay himself off after laying off 250
of his co-workers. Having been
through the employee separation process from both sides of the table provided
the insight to formulate a service that would benefit sponsoring
organizations as well as separated employees. So for over 25 years,
Transitions Team has worked with companies and organizations of all sizes and
from all industries to provide highly effective individual and group
Outplacement service.
Our goal has always been to make this
difficult experience as much of a win-win situation as possible. We assist the sponsor organization in
preparing for the event by training those having to give a separation
notice. This training helps the event transpire with as little emotion, disruption, and
lack of productivity as possible.
We also provide moral support, individual one-on-one coaching, and training
to the separated employees until they are placed in their new position.
In 2003, we expanded staff and added additional services that would assist organizations to improve their effectiveness, solve organizational problems, develop their leaders, and retain desired employees.
